HexelateĪt the heart of Hexels lies a paintable grid of geometric shapes: a tessellating canvas built of hexagons, triangles, squares, and custom polygons. I sadly cannot say I'd purchase this given these issues.Marmoset Hexels™ is a unique, grid-based painting tool for vector art, pixel art, design, and animation. Switching to my mouse the cursor shows no lag and paint applies just fine. Using my Wacom tablet the cursor eventually just lags out no matter what is happening and no paint will ever be applies regardless of pressure or brush settings. and then have the program just figure out the closes "hexel" measure to that if not clip the canvas to fit?ħ. However, is there no option to create a document size using pixels, inches, etc. Document size is in "Hexels" which I get since it's in a grid. I kind of understand why there is none but it's still a valid criticism methinks.ĥ. However, tri doesn't even have all the shapes available and it is more complicated overall to use.Ĥ. Why can't I designate specific layers a specific shape? The only way to use multiple shapes is to use that tri one. Just running the program itself and doing nothing causes my CPU to be locked at 2.8 Ghz with only 30% utilization, randomly spiking to 67% or so.ģ. I'm on an old laptop using an i5-2450m at 2.5 Ghz. On the Steam page you have no requirements on CPU. I cannot paint at the edge using this shape no matter what which is just silly.Ģ. Vetroni shapes have issues with edge wrapping on or off.
